Patti L Desrosier, CPA
Prior to founding PLD Accounting +, I served as Controller for a Milwaukee-based graphic design agency for eight years where I managed the general operations, accounting, human resources and benefits functions. During the ten years prior, I learned the accounting world of a publicly traded insurance company.
In my early career, I served a variety of small business owners from a different perspective while working for a public accounting firm. My public accounting experience included auditing, accounting and individual income tax preparation.
I received my bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, obtained my CPA certification in 1994, and am currently a member of the WICPA. I am also a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor.
A lifelong resident of Southeastern Wisconsin, I am an active member of my church, serving in a variety of capacities. I currently assist the Associate Minister and Sunday school teachers with the youth programs. I am also a past member of the Board of Deacons, Board of Christian Education and Benevolence Board, as well as a past treasurer. I have traveled to West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Mexico, and Honduras as part of mission teams to serve those in need. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and walking my dogs, Ricky and Minnie.
