Can I partner with PLD Accounting + even if my business office is not in Southeastern WI?

Absolutely! QuickBooks Online is specifically designed to manage your accounting records wherever you have an internet connection. Therefore, the majority of my work is performed remotely. This allows me to work with both local and long distance clients equally. On occasion I also have in-person meetings with my local clients. However, with the wide-spread use of Zoom and Teams meetings, I also have the ability to have face-to-face meetings with my long distance clients as well.

How do services offered by PLD Accounting + differ from a tax accounting firm?

Providing business solutions through accounting and fractional Controller services, I partner with each business owner as an alternative to internal accounting staff. I manage day-to-day accounting activity, develop accounting processes and procedures, prepare payroll, record transactions and balance accounts on a routine basis. I prepare analysis documents and schedules on behalf of my client partners that are needed to present to their tax accountants. As an outsourced accountant, I discuss the accounting records with a tax accountant of your choice on behalf my business owner partners. Although I have completed tax returns in the past, my expertise is providing accounting and fractional Controller level services. My 34 years of experience and  background provides valuable insight; I know both how to manage small business finances on your behalf, but also am aware of what your tax accountant is looking for. Your tax accountant is an expert in tax preparation and can provide clear guidance in tax law, however, I can assist you, the business owner, in understanding and analyzing the data.

What does it mean to be a QuickBooks Online Certified Pro Advisor?

As a Certified Pro Advisor, I am an expert in QuickBooks Online installation, setup, reporting, and other daily functions of the software . I have access to a team of professionals at QuickBooks through the Pro Advisor program, who provide relevant and timely answers when needed. The Pro Advisor program also provides continuing education and monthly new feature updates available in QBO.
